A leitura é a principal função na criação da literatura. Sem escritores não haveria texto, mas sem leitores não haveria literatura – e não haveria escrita. A leitura precede a escrita nas nossas histórias comuns.
Durante as sessões, que terão lugar exclusivamente online e em inglês, analisaremos quatro grandes obras para ver como a leitura através das gerações as transformou:
- Homero, A Odisseia
- Dante, A Divina Comédia
- Miguel de Cervantes, Dom Quixote
- Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
Reading is the foremost task in the creation of literature. Without writers there would be no text, but without readers there would be no literature, and there would be no writing. Reading precedes writing in our common histories.
In these sessions, held exclusively online and taught in English, we will analyze four major works to see how reading through the generations has transformed them:
- Homer, The Odyssey
